About the development process
GetSet practices Agile Software Development. The ideal candidate has an enthusiasm for working across teams to continually improve our development process.
Our new team member will work closely with the Chief Engineer and the VP of Product throughout the software development lifecycle—from strategy and design to sprint planning and testing. Close collaboration between Product and Engineering enables us to cultivate a shared understanding of the problems and solutions we're working on, and helps ensure consistent delivery of software that meets client, user, and business needs.
About the job
We are looking for an experienced developer interested in working in the following stack.
- A modern web frontend (AngularJS, SASS)
- Ruby on Rails web-apps and services
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL) mirrored in Elasticsearch
- Automated testing (RSpec and Jasmin)
- Cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services automated with Ansible)
We are dedicated to keeping the code clean while deploying new features frequently. Help and guidance is always available from the team, but candidates should be comfortable taking ownership of the established codebase, troubleshooting issues from error logs, and learning new technologies.
